Not usually, unless Syluss happens to have free space on the day. Around 99% of tattoos are done by appointment only. This ensures every piece gets the time, focus, and custom attention it deserves. Consultations are free and recommended for anyone considering a new tattoo.

How much does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on size, style, level of detail, and how long it takes to complete. Half-day and full-day sessions are available for larger pieces or ongoing work. Syluss also offers piece prices for smaller ideas.

Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. Every tattoo begins with a one-on-one consultation, free of charge. These are held at Wolf Ink Studio on Queen Street, Exeter, and are a great opportunity to discuss your ideas, placement, sizing, and design direction.
How should I prepare for my tattoo?

Stay hydrated
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and sun exposure the day before

Syluss focuses on bold, custom tattooing with a strong illustrative and gothic edge. You’ll also see elements of blackwork, fine detail, and narrative design throughout the portfolio. Every piece is drawn specifically for the individual.
There’s also a variety of custom flash available to choose from — just ask or pop into the studio.
Can you rework or cover up old tattoos?
Yes. With years of experience, Syluss can rework faded or poorly executed tattoos and design meaningful cover-ups that give old pieces new life. Bring reference photos or ideas to your consultation if this is something you’re considering.
